Jereme Cowan
Jereme graduated from Duke University School of Law and then began a career as a landman at a major independent oil and gas company in Oklahoma City. After serving as a landman, he transferred to an in-house attorney group with that same company, where in 2007 he began his practice focusing on oil and gas land titles, drafting and interpreting assignments, and preparing drilling and division order title opinions. On February 1, 2013, Jereme left the corporate world to form his own law firm, which merged with Marc Fleischer's firm in late 2013 to become Cowan & Fleischer, PLLC. Along with managing the operations of the firm, Jereme oversees the firm's practice for lands situated in Oklahoma and contributes to the firm's legal positions in the state of Ohio.

Marc Fleischer
Marc graduated cum laude from Oklahoma City School of Law in 2005, where he served as an articles editor for the law review. He began his career as a landman at a major independent oil and gas company and then advanced to the position of senior title attorney during his almost 7 years in-house at that company. In the summer of 2012, he decided to leave the corporate world and begin his own firm. Almost a year later, Marc merged his firm with the law practice of Jereme Cowan, forming Cowan & Fleischer, PLLC. Marc manages the operations of the firms, including input on all administrative matters. He also continues his law practice by overseeing the firm's practice area for lands situated in Ohio and in North Dakota.

Matthew C. Fleischer graduated with honors in 2005 from Oklahoma City School of Law, where he served as an articles editor for the law review. Lisa Kaulaity
Lisa graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2002. She began her practice that year by joining an Oklahoma based law firm that focused on energy law. In 2005, Lisa then joined an exploration and production company in Oklahoma City, first as a Landman but later as in-house counsel. While at the E&P company, she prepared Oklahoma and Ohio title opinions and advised various departments in the development of oil and gas and the acquisitions of other assets. In 2013, Lisa left the corporate world to help create her own firm. Ultimately, Lisa joined Cowan & Fleischer in 2016, where she now serves as Partner. She continues her practice focusing on oil and gas land titles for lands situated in both Ohio and Oklahoma.

While there, he completed a one-semester internship in the U.S. State Department’s Office of the Assistant Legal Adviser for Private International Law. Jason obtained experience in energy law as a summer intern with Cowan & Fleischer, where he began working as an associate upon admittance into the Oklahoma Bar. Prior to attending law school, Jason served on staff and as an adjunct professor at a private liberal arts university in the Midwest. He holds advanced degrees in Christian theology and Hebrew Bible.
